2 Secretos para Aprender Español

Hola Soy Brenda Romaniello tu profesora de español de Hola Spanish. Hoy vamos a hablar de dos componentes esenciales para aprender español. Estas dos virtudes guardan el secreto para aprender español y por los general las usamos para aprender cualquier cosa.
Hi, I’m Brenda, your Spanish teacher at Hola Spanish. Today we’re going to talk about two essential components to learn Spanish. These two virtues are the secret to learning Spanish and generally, we use them to learn anything.
El primero de los secretos es tener paciencia. Para estudiar un idioma, necesitamos paciencia, principalmente porque es muy común que al principio nos cueste entender ciertos conceptos. La memoria no es muy buena cuando recién empezamos a estudiar un idioma, y a veces tenemos una sensación de que no vamos a poder recordar el vocabulario, las estructuras, los verbos, etc y sentimos que es demasiado.
The first secret is patience. In order to study a language, we need patience, mainly because it is very common at first to find certain concepts difficult to understand. Memory is not very good when we just started studying a language, and sometimes we have a feeling that we’ll not be able to remember the vocabulary, the structures, the verbs, etc. and we feel that it’s all too much.
Por eso, lo más importante que tienes que tener cuando empiezas a estudiar español es paciencia. Es recomendable estudiar un poquito todos los días y verás que vas a mejorar y vas a empezar a entender cada vez más el español.
That’s why the most important thing you need when you start studying Spanish is patience. It is advisable to study a little every day and you’ll see that you will improve and you’ll begin to understand more and more Spanish.
Cuando estamos estudiando una lengua nueva necesitamos construir un sistema lingüístico diferente en el cerebro lo que un proceso a veces largo, tedioso, monótono, aburrido. Lo que necesitas es paciencia para poder continuar.
When we are studying a new language, we need to build a different linguistic system in the brain which is a process that is sometimes long, tedious, monotonous, and even boring. What you need is patience to be able to continue and push through.
Paciencia significa tener una actitud positiva y continuar estudiando, aún cuando implique no ver los resultados inmediatamente.
Patience means having a positive attitude and continuing with your studies, even if it means not seeing the results immediately.
El segundo componte es la dedicación. La dedicación es hacer algo de manera repetida como por ejemplo todos los días o algunas veces por semana para poder así, avanzar en el estudio del español. Tiene que ser progresiva, no un día por 8 horas y luego no retomar los estudios por un mes, por ejemplo. La idea es decidir el tiempo que puedes dedicar a estudiar español o estudiar un poco todos los días.
The second secret is dedication. Dedication is to do something repeatedly, such as every day or a few times a week, to be able to improve your Spanish. It also has to be progressive, not one day for 8 hours and then not resume your studies for a month, for example. The idea is to decide the time you can spend studying Spanish or do a little every day.
Tú decides qué funciona para ti: una vez por semana por una hora, 10 o 15 minutos por día. La idea es decidir la frecuencia con la que tú puedes comprometerte a estudiar español, aunque sea un poquito todas las semanas.
You decide what works for you: once a week for an hour, 10 or 15 minutes a day. The idea is to decide how often you can commit to studying Spanish, even if it’s a little bit every week.
Paciencia y dedicación te van a llegar muy lejos y es lo más importante para aprender o mejorar tu español. Desde ya quiero que sepas que estás haciendo un muy buen trabajo y quiero que continúes así.
Patience and dedication will go far and it is the most important thing to learn or improve your Spanish. I already want you to know that you are doing a very good job and I want you to continue like that.
