¿Tienes mascotas?
Do you have pets? I grew up with cats and dogs at home, but ever since I moved to Sydney 9 years ago I haven’t had pets and I always wanted to. Romi has a little black cat called Mabel and she’s very sweet. Finally today can be the day for me. We’re going to check out some kittens and we may come back with another member of the family. I love animals and I like both cats and dogs. If we end up adopting one today, I’m going to post a photo so you can see it and I also have to think of a name, so if you have any suggestions, let me know in the comments below.

One of our students asked in YouTube: What is the difference between ‘Pelo’ and ‘Cabello’. This is a very common question because they both mean hair. Today we’ll have a look at the difference between pelo y cabello with some examples.

‘ Pelo’ and ‘cabello’ are synonyms and they mean the same in some Hispanic countries like Argentina.

‘Cabello’ is more specific and it refers to the hair in the head.

‘Pelo’ is more general and it can refer to the hair in the rest of the body and in animals.
